Zippo, known for its durable lighters, wanted to engage with outdoor enthusiasts. Teaming up with Ogilvy New York and Illusion, we designed an interactive installation called Pyrotechnic Posters. Outdoor influencers received a kit with a Zippo lighter and a letter requesting them to set the posters on fire. The posters, initially black, revealed elaborately illustrated environments when touched with the lighter, thanks to thermochromic ink technology. This campaign intrigued adventure-loving audiences and emphasized Zippo as an essential tool for exploring the outdoors.
